About Us

Meet Meesh

I’m Taleesha Hergett AKA “Meesh.” My two greatest passions are art and genealogy. My love for art began as a child. My love for genealogy came later in life in the process of helping my mother find her biological great grandmother using an old photograph and her Ancestry DNA matches. I also enjoy making arts and crafts with a personalized twist based on my family history research.

Meet Milo

He’s Milo McScruffles Hergett. He’s a lilac ragdoll mix, not a purebred. He showed up on our deck one morning and claimed he would live with us now, as cats do. His passions are early morning bird watching, long afternoon naps, and crunchy cat treats. (Crunchy treats, never soft, he’s very adamant about this.)

More info

My ancestors lived primarily in the Eastern U.S. near the Appalachians. My paternal side lived in Northern Alabama, Georgia and across the Southern states. My maternal side lived in Western Pennsylvania, Ohio and the Northern states.
